Firstly we would like to say thank-you for taking the time to have a look over our website. We've found, overtime whenever we stay somewhere you never know who will be waiting for at reception so we decided to be a little different and let you all in on a little bit about ourselves.
Both of us were born and raised in Taranaki and planned on staying here forever...until we got the opportunity to live in Ireland for 12 months. It was 2000 and by 2005 (yes 5 years later) we had truly embraced the Irish culture and amongst other things played rugby (yes both of us), worked in a castle, and sold photocopiers.
With our first son Tyler due in November that year, we decided to have a kiwi kid, so back home we came. David began a new career in Real Estate and Kelly-Anne set out keeping the house in order and planning another child. Ella duely obliged and we welcomed her in February 2008 the same day as her Dad!
By October that year we realized we were ready for a change of scenery so when this opportunity came around we jumped at it, and the process changed a 16 acre lifestyle block with 12 chickens for a half acre section with 12 units.
We love this province, love the city and love our job. Hopefully this comes through when you meet us whether your first time visiting or your 15th year staying.
P.S Our 5th and latest member of the family Lockie (The Cat) arrived in Santa's sack in 2009.
Time for an update...Not busy enough with only 2 kids + the cat, we welcomed Molly in August 2013.
She’s famed for her smile in greeting guests (when you catch her sitting on mums lap in the office).
Tyler is growing into the typical kiwi lad – enjoying both cricket and rugby when the sun shines and in the middle of a storm.
Ella is into anything that involves dancing and the colour pink ... actually the colour depends on the day.
And the both of us... well nothing much has changed just a few more wrinkles!
